I was approached by Google to create a series of background images for their new Google ‘Meet’ video conferencing application. I was asked to respond to themes such as ‘Connectivity’ and ‘Teamwork’ and so I devised a series of still life setups that would evoke these ideas. I used a mixture of materials to construct each image and worked with Aaron Tilley to shoot the final setups. The images sit behind the Google Meet UI and each concept that I developed with the Google Team has a pair of images that sit side-by-side when using two screens to carry out a video call.
