I was approached by VCCP to direct a short film to celebrate the 400 year anniversary of Grolsch. Taking inspiration from the brands history and its name which means ‘Beer from the Green Wood’, I decided to depict the iconic Grolsch bottle shape by growing seedlings in a beer crate. The whole process took two weeks to film in a controlled studio environment with specialist nature time-lapse photography and lighting.
